BUZZ MAGNETS
A couple of weeks ago, a potential vendor at my work sent me a couple of small and curiously strong magnets. Platinum in color and highly polished, they were thin and pretty cylindrical in shape, about an inch and a half long. When you would toss them in the air or do various things with them, they would make sounds as they rattled one against the other. Various clicks, clacks, buzzes, and chirps. I found out that they are called Buzz Magnets.
Well, what do you do with things like these whenever you receive them? Give them to your kid, of course. So, I gave them to Evan and he had fun playing with them and figuring out how they worked. After a few days, though, he got bored with them, as kids do with most toys. I hadn't seen the magnets in a few days and I asked him about them. Much to my horror, he confessed that he fed one to our dog and the other one to our cat! Yikes! I am not sure what to do about it but I suppose all things come to pass.
Of course, as is the case with dogs and cats, ours normally don't like each other. But, oddly enough, ever since this happened, we have noticed that we can't keep them away from each other.
(Don't believe everything you read. We don't have a cat. However, our dog does seem to be attracted to the refrigerator lately. I need to look for those magnets.)
