PICKLES
So, I was thinking today about pickles. You know, the dill pickle halves and quarters that you get with your meal at restaurants across the country. What's the deal with that? Why a dill pickle? Why not a carrot or a piece of broccoli or an Andes Mint? It's always been pickles for as long as I remember. Apparently the Pickle Marketing Board did a pretty good job at one point.

If you eat the pickle first, it makes the rest of the food taste really good.
