1000 POSTS
I am pretty much at my one thousandth post, give or take a couple because I know that I have a few posts sitting around in draft form that have never been published.
Some people, on milestone posts such as this, will tell things about themselves that their readers may not know.
I am going to put a different spin on it ...
if you read my blog and there is anything at all you would like to know about me, just ask.
I will probably answer.

Why do you like pie?
I would say because of the flaky crust. The flakier the better.
I have thought more about it and, yes, it is definitely because of the flaky crust.
If you had to choose between 2 careers would you rather clean up poo behind an elephant at a circus or be a belly dancer?
:)
I would take the poo picking up job. I could sell the poo as fertilizer.
Belly dancers, on the other hand, probably depend upon tips for extra income and I just can't see a lot of tips coming my way other than things like "Stop dancing and go pick up elephant poo!"
(Lisa cracks me up...)
Okay, here's one for ya:
How did you get into the roofing business? Was it family owned or did you start to work there earlier in your career and advanced or what? and...if you didn't have this job, what job WOULD you like to try?
How much wood could a wood-chuck chuck if a wood-chuck could chuck wood? I don't know if this has anything to do with you but I just wondered.
HeyJules -- yep, the company was started by my father and I sort of growed up in it. Originally, I did not see myself as being a part of it but, well, things happen. And, really, helping to provide shelter to folks is something I have come to see as a good thing. What would I be doing if not this? I'd love David Letterman's job but knowing that isn't happening, I'd probably try to make a living writing. I'd be a lot skinnier that way.
Draw the line -- If a wood chuck could indeed chuck wood, it would still not chuck any because it would not have any inner drive or instinct telling it that chucking wood is a good thing.
That's all I got.
