CHRISTOPHER RODRIGUEZ
I will simply supply a link to the story of Christopher Rodriguez ... as I say a prayer for this young man whose life was instantly changed in a tragic occurrence. Instantly and permanently changed. May God help him to rise above this.

If God existed, he could have nudged that bullet a few inches over. You Christians are so gullible.
Great comment. I agree that God could have moved the bullet. He also could have made the bullet never exist in the first place.
I don't see God as protecting us from "real life" ... He provides a context for understanding it and for seeing value in it. But He provides us with freewill (I would not want a God who made me a mindless robot) and out of that freewill, not-so-nice real life stuff is going to happen. God helps me deal with that reality and gives me an entirely different context with which to view the world and all that goes on around me.
