Some pretty interesting stuff here in the first half of II Corinthians 5. We long to be in God's presence ... to be in that communion with Him ... but we also want all of our ugliness to be covered up during that communion. We know, though, that it can't be. That, to the father, we are completely uncovered and exposed. That makes us uncomfortable but it also drives us to do our best ... to live sinless lives of compassion and love and grace and mercy.
