Perry Noble has a fascinating post today on something that apparently pastors hear on occasion -- that they do not go deep enough. His post has really made me think. I have sometimes longed for "deeper teaching" and while there certainly is nothing wrong with that maybe it is really an indicator that I am trying to dance around applying the things I do know ... or it could also be an indicator that in reality I have a lot of stuff I carry around from my past that I really need to work through in a therapy setting -- I need healing and understand that isn't going to occur just because I have "gone deeper" in the Word.
