So, I was walking into WalMart the other day (I wonder just how many blog posts in the United States start with a statement similar to that!) and I first see the greeter -- a friendly older gentleman. Thin, glasses ... looked like he was probably president of his high school Debate Team. From my right came rushing up another older gentleman -- a customer. This guy had a pretty strong build and a 50's style burr haircut. He looked like he was undoubtedly captain of the football team ... before players wore pads ... or helmets. He rushed the greeter ... apparently they were long-time acquaintances. As Mr Football rushed in with arms flying, Mr. Debate immediately retreated a step and put up his arms in defense.

After all these years ... relationships like that never change.

Somehow, though, I think that Bill Gates is having the last laugh.
